Lorraine and I felt adventurous and flew to Cebu straight from Boracay-- just so she can try Casa Verde's ribs, La Marea's dessert and Cebu Lechon which I've been telling her about since the time I went to Sinulog! It sounded really fun as planned but it turned out to be very stressful. To begin with, we weren't able to catch on some Z's before leaving Boracay (we got back to our hotel at around 4am... in time for our 7am flight) Although, we did try to sleep on the plane; but the flight was only about an hour or so! What's even more unlucky is that when we landed in Cebu, the mall was still closed. We were walking zombies, desperate to find a restaurant that was open.... we ended up in Starbucks!! (fail bec not like weve never had it! not a Cebu thing haha) After a while, we realized it wasnt such a bad idea since we needed some coffee to keep us up anyway! Two hours passed.. the mall finally opened! We literally hopped from one restaurant to another: from Sunburst, to Vanille, to Tsim Tsa Tsui and finally, Casa Verde. Non stop eating. We even went to the grocery to buy my favorite FISH TAPA! Then we met up with our friend, Mico (our tour guide whom we kept texting and asking which restaurants we should go to) He brought us to his place, which was near Zubuchon yay! since it started to rain so bad and Lorraine and I were super duper tired already. Spent the rest of the day in his house watching tv! haha so much for La Marea's Warm Brownie Cup L and oops i forgot to take a photo of Casa Verde's ribs!!!!!! L

Oh! just to top it off, our trip ended up as the most stressful one ever since we booked a wrong flight home!!!!!!!!!!! Before we knew it, we were even worried we wouldnt get to the airport on time since we still passed by Zubuchon for lechon and CnT for some chicharon to bring home! We were panicking we might get stuck in traffic, only to find out we really did miss our flight already! All along, we thought we had an 8pm flight back to MNL... until the guy at the counter said "Mam, na miss niyo na yung flight.. 8am po dapat yan. Military time tayo" AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA If only our reactions were caught on cam! Lorraine was frustrated. I was laughing. Lorraine just wanted to go home. I was just thinking about the lechon; it might get spoiled hahaha! well... we did want an adventure, right? Definitely looking forward to another one.... considering Bacolod as of now! This time, I'll be the one to book our flight. can't be Lorraine again lol
